D'FUSION does use this technology to avoid equipment costs.
Indeed, the markerless tracking technology means a real time tracking of real objects.
The algorithms are based on real-time virtual visual servoing or non-marked objects.

Instead of precise patterns, the technology allows to track complex objects which can be approximately modeled trhrough a polyhedral shape.

Either ¡°silent edge¡± or texture based algorithm¡± information can be used wether the object has texture information or not.

3.Movies Application
Over the past few years, most special effects are created off-line, frame by frame with a substantial amount of user interaction and computer graphics system rendering.

Now, D'FUSION analyses the live action images to determine the camera parameters and use this to drive the generation of the virtual graphics objects to be merged. Military:
Training Simulation

Equipping military personnel with helmet mounted visor displays, the activities of other units participating in the exercise can be imaged.
While looking at the horizon, for example, the display equipped soldier could see a helicopter rising above the tree line. This helicopter could be being flown in simulation by another participant.
This can be very useful in terms of efficiency and reality. Indeed, the military personnel can be now immersed into the real world (and not only in front of a screen with virtual scenes) and interact with 3D Objetcs representing targets (helicopters, tanks).

2.Video Conferencing

D'FUSION allows several participants (up to 8) at different locations to communicate over a network in an environment simulating a traditional
face-to-face meeting. Integrated into this environment can be displayed live video stream of the participant.
