Product Overview
OptiTrack-Slim 13E
Multiple lens and filter options, 240 FPS capture, and GigE I/O for high-speed, high-precision computer vision and OEM.
1.3 megapixel resolution @ 240 FPS
Precisely capture fast-moving objects with the Slim 13E’s 1.3MP imager, 240 FPS capture speed, and global shutter.
Scalable GigE/PoE interface
A GigE/PoE interface enables hundreds of synchronized Slim 13E cameras to be connected simultaneously. As a long-range alternative to USB, these Ethernet cameras can also be mounted hundreds of meters away from their host PC.
Low profile, OEM-friendly design
The Slim 13E’s low profile and simple black matte finish combine for a discreet, OEM-friendly form factor. Turn off all visible status indicators via software control when your application requires cameras to go completely dark.
Lensing Options
Featuring M12, C, and CS mounting options, the Slim 13E can be equipped with a low-distortion, fast-glass OptiTrack lens or third party lens of your choice.
Filter Options
Alternate between IR and visible spectrum imaging with our Filter Switcher technology, or select a band-pass filter to eliminate interference from other light sources even more thoroughly.
External synchronization in/out
Synchronize to almost any signal or source when you combine your Slim 13E with the eSync 2. Cameras can be in sync to a variety of sources, such as a Genlock signal, DAQ pulse, or general purpose inputs and software commands. Highly accurate frame timing can also be achieved with SMTPE Time Code.
External strobe sync
Synchronize your Slim 13E with an external illumination source via on-camera, opto-isolated microminiature circular connector.
Camera SDK for image capture & camera control
Incorporate Slim 13E cameras into OEM or computer vision applications via the free Camera SDK, a C/C++ interface for control of and access to raw camera frames, image processing modes, camera settings, 2D object data, and camera synchronization.
On-camera image processing
Our low latency, on-camera image analysis delivers clean, reliable data to your PC for efficient marker solving and reference video. Image processing types include:
• Object
Performs on-camera detection of marker location, size, and roundness using our most precise grayscale processing methods. Provides excellent precision with the smallest CPU footprint.
• Segment
Like precision grayscale processing, segment mode divides processing between the camera and CPU, providing streamlined marker information for CPU-efficient marker detection. Provides a balance between precision and processing load.
• MJPEG
Down-sampled (1/10th) grayscale frames, compressed on-camera for highly scalable reference video capabilities.
• Raw grayscale
Full resolution, uncompressed grayscale.
On-camera MJPEG compression
MJPEG compression delivers full frame-rate video with 1/10th the bandwidth of raw grayscale, enabling numerous cameras to operate in reference mode, simultaneously.
Aim Assist for single user setup
Bring the camera to view in software and optimize camera settings for aiming with one button press. Aim Assist enables a single operator to configure a system in minutes, without ever touching the software interface.
Press the flashing Aim Assist button for a demo.
