The MTi 100-series is Xsens’ high-performance product line, featuring vibration-rejecting gyroscopes. It sets the industry standard for reliable MEMS-based INS’s, AHRS’s, VRU’s and IMU’s that provides high-quality position, velocity, acceleration, and orientation, even in challenging environments. The optimized temperature calibration of the internal sensors combined with twenty years of sensor fusion knowledge delivers reliable data for high demanding industrial applications.

Industrial design
The anodized aluminum housing of the MTi series protects the internal components against damage. The housing is tested to meet IP 67, so it can withstand temporary immersion at a depth of 1m.

The MTi series have special alignment studs for easy mounting and easy aligning.

MT Software Suite
The MT Software Suite gives easy access to Xsens’ products. The suite contains a specially developed and easy-to-use graphical user interface, as well as drivers for various operating systems and many other useful tools, example source code and documentation.

Although it is easy to set up the MTi via the low-level XBus protocol, communication is made easy with the Xsens Device API (XDA) which is completely in C-code.

Development kit

MT Development Kit
First-time users are advised to start with the MT Development Kit. The Development Kit contains an MTi-100 IMU, MTi-200 VRU, MTi-300 AHRS or MTi-G-710 GNSS/INS and a USB cable (or optional GNSS antenna), all in a robust box. The MT Software Suite for the development kit can be downloaded here, which allows prospective users to already start development.

The MT Software Suite gives easy access to Xsens’ products, allowing users to configure and easily integrate the MTi 100-series Motion Trackers in their own applications. The suite contains a specially developed and easy-to-use graphical user interface, as well as drivers for various operating systems and many other useful tools, example source code and documentation.
